Care Instructions

Most blankets should be washed once per month, but because of Hilu's antimicrobial and antibacterial properties, you only need to wash it every 3-6 months. 

For best results, machine wash it and air dry it. Do NOT dry it in the dryer. You can also spot clean where necessary

What Is Adaptex Coolweev Fabric Made Of?

Adaptex Coolweev Fabric is made from a high-tech material called Eco-cool Polyfiber. What is the frequency of washing for both Bluvet and Pillow Case?

Typically for normal duvets it’s recommended washing frequency is between 2 to 4 weeks. As the Bluvet and the Pillowcases it would be much longer, and we would recommend between 2 to 3 months or more depending on how often you use it and how sweaty does your body get. 

What is the material responsible  (no graphene this time) for antibacterial/antimicrobial properties?

Typical fabric like basic cotton and blended cotton fabric are highly absorbent where liquid/moisture (sweat) from our body tend to be absorbed by the fabric where bacteria grows and odor starts to build-up.
 

Our fabric is made from our own blend–our Eco-cool Polyfiber fabric with our Adaptex design makes our  fabric “hydrophobic” making  the Bluvet and Pilowcase heat-wicking and pulls moisture away from your body before moisture build-up. This helps prevent sweat and the growth of microbes and bacteria that causes bad odor.

How does your return policy work?

If you’re unhappy with your purchase, we’ll find a solution for you. Most of our products can be returned or exchanged within 30 days. And we’ll pay for the return shipping if you’re in the US. Returns will be refunded in the original payment method or store credit. What is included in the 10-year warranty?

When we developed HILU, we were determined to bring a new standard in the sleep industry. Who said 10 years warranty only applied to only mattresses?

All of our HILU have a 10-year limited warranty on manufacturing defects and a 1-year limited warranty on damages when purchased directly from myhilu.com. For one year following the date of your purchase, if you experience any manufacturing defects, you will be covered under the warranty. We will offer a one-time replacement or repair of the original product in the specification purchased. This includes all components of the product, and no other fees will be required. The collection of the original product and delivery of the replacement will be completed at no cost to the customer. 

The HILU limited warranty covers the original purchaser of HILU for the term specified (one year) in the United States. Any warranty, or implied warranty, is only valid for the period of time the product is owned by the original purchaser. The original purchaser, for the purposes of this warranty, is the first purchaser of the product from myhilu.com.
